Variety Early Learning Center, Las Vegas NV
Aria Landscape Architecture is providing pro-bono landscape architectural services for this +24,000 SF non-profit daycare center to be located within a City of Las Vegas building at Lorenzi Park. Since the project is funded by grants, the design team endeavors to retain as much of the existing infrastructure as possible and provide a healthy learning environment for the education of the children who will be attending the center. The landscape services include updated landscape planting and irrigation and the addition of two new playground areas.
SHARE Veteran’s Village, Las Vegas NV
Aria Landscape Architecture is providing pro-bono landscape architectural services for the design and development of the Jacob Sportsman Memorial Plaza on the existing site of Veteran’s Village. The memorial plaza space is designed to create outdoor gathering and gardening areas for the veterans. Shaded seating, small event spaces, and outdoor cooking areas will provide the veterans with community spaces where they can share stories and cultivate sense of community and family. Also included are raised garden beds and fruit trees that the veterans can use to learn agricultural skills and help provide fresh produce and herbs for their food pantry.
Salvation Army, Las Vegas NV
Aria Landscape Architecture is providing landscape architectural services for the design and development of the Garden of Eat’n at the Salvation Army Family Resources Building. The Garden of Eat’n is being designed to provide agricultural training to several of the partners of The Salvation Army, as well as provide a steady source of fresh fruits and vegetable to supplement their food pantry.
